Online Exhibition - Leo and Andy Davey - Somerset Art Weeks 2024

For Art Weeks this year I was going to try something different. Collections of seasonal plants and flowers, carefully arranged with intricate backgrounds, starting with a Christmassy bouquet of winter plants including everyone's favourite Christmas foliage, ivy and holly.

But no!! SAW's theme this year is "Landscape: Flux and Flow". My bread and butter, my passion. My elaborate floral combinations can wait. Another celebration of a the wonderful choices of rivers, hills, beaches and woodland that surround us.

This year, as it is a group show year and not an open studios year, I am showing with my father Andy Davey. A fantastic artist, a lovely man and an inspiration to me in many ways. He is why I do what I do and my favourite person to discuss painting with. Come and pay us a visit. You can find details of the show if you scroll to the bottom.

If you can't make it to the show this online exhibition of my work will have to do but the only way to see Andy's work is in the flesh. A little something to lure you into Minehead!

All work below has been done this summer and is currently available in it's original form from the gallery section on my website or from my Minehead gallery and as prints in various sizes on request. You can also by other prints, cards and books from past exhibitions from the site too.

Anyway, if these depictions give you even a fraction of the pleasure that I get from making them, then I have succeeded.
